The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
